Mission description

Supervise inventory accuracy.

Profile

Job Function:

• Ensure that all inventory in the warehouse matches with quantities and location as indicated by the WMS.

• Ensure cycle counts are conducted on a daily basis.

• Ensure first pick availability by ensuring stock location and quantities are correct on the system.

• Monitoring of stock movement through the facility by ensuring various departments are recording stock movements in the system.

• Ensure stock is located in locations to optimise picking and material flow through the warehouse.

• Conduct regular ABC analysis in order to achieve outcome mentioned in above.

• Ensure Cycle Counts are conducted regularly and reporting is done on inventory accuracy.

• Ensure stock counts are conducted as per company and customer requirements.

• Ensure all inventory accuracy targets are met and reported on.

• Ensure inventory match between customer system and Materials Management WMS and report on any discrepancies.

• Take actions to minimise inventory losses and the liability associated therewith.

• Claims investigations and resolutions.

• Supervise 999 reports for picking differences
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Matric preferred.

• 3 years' experience in supply chain / warehouse or related fields.

• Tertiary education in either logistics or supply chain management would be an advantage.

• WMS (SAP) experience would be an advantage.

• Training in MS Office and other industry related courses would be an advantage.
