Introduction

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive leader to manage daily warehouse operations. In this role you'll oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensure compliance with safety standards, and drive inventory accuracy. Duties & Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Loading and offloading of trucks
  • Daily SIC of warehouse, trucks, and forklifts
  • Overall admin (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Maintaining Warehouse, staff, and trucks (Co-ordinating deliveries)
  • Stock taking (Cycle Counts)
  • Daily reports
  • Safety officer, First aider, Fire Co-ordinator


SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock management.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Syspro).
  • Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and compliance.
  • Ability to interpret and apply labour legislation and company policies.


Behavioural Competencies:

  • Leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide staff.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Desired Experience & Qualification

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
  • A relevant post-matric qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Warehouse Management is advantageous.


Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and compliance requirements in South Africa.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and ERP software (ABACA) is advantageous.


Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and own transport
