Excellent experience required in monitoring and analyzing utilization, product availability, pricing, and lead times to prepare VMI models.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview

The Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist is responsible for the daily maintenance and operation of the VMI Program. These duties include, but are not limited to :

inventory review,

evaluation of demand forecasting,

assess inventory controls, and

purchase order generation.

In addition to these activities, the Vendor Managed Inventory Coordinator will be required to maintain up-to-date records within the database systems, including performing basic database maintenance. The Vendor Managed Inventory Coordinator will also help develop and work with the analysis of the inventory controls and supply chain processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Inventory Review, Evaluation, Analysis, and Planning

Evaluate Demand Forecasting

Purchase Order Generation and Release

Data Entry and Maintaining VMI Data Integrity

Database Maintenance and updates

Logistics Support

Communication with the supplier of the product.

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum of 3-5 years of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) experience required.

NDip or relevant degree in a relevant logistics field.

3+ years of Inventory Control or Purchase Order experience will be advantageous

Microsoft Office Suite of Programs, CRM Experience, Database Experience,

Inventory Control Experience,

Basic understanding of Supply Chain and logistics,

Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills,

Highly Detail-Oriented,

Math skills,

Ability to Effectively Multi-task

Maintain records pertaining to inventory, orders, and supplies.

Analyze financial activities of establishments or departments and provide input into budget planning and preparation processes.
