Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a well-qualified professional to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting sustainment and modernization efforts for the Minuteman III (MMIII) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon system. The MMIII is a 1970s era weapon system scheduled to be retained as the United States military's prompt, global strike deterrent system until at least 2050. The Wing Integrated Planning Center (WIPC) Senior Logistician is a dynamic position that will allow opportunities to support the entire MMIII weapon system. The WIPC Senior Logistician Duties Include

  • Support maintenance planning & scheduling requirements.
  • Support daily and weekly scheduling meetings.
  • Support uploading daily schedules to Nuclear Munitions Command and Control (NMC2).
  • Support documenting Base Civil Engineering actions in proposed alteration and construction affecting the weapon system in the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS).
  • Support documenting Programmed Depot Maintenance and other Depot-level program schedules in IMDS.
  • Support maintaining Launch Facility (LF), Missile Alert Facility (MAF), and ICBM support equipment periodic maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure inspections are scheduled and are cleared in IMDS daily.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of directly related experience in Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Maintenance with missile maintenance field experience or 7 years of Maintenance Management Production experience with extensive knowledge of ICBM Maintenance operations.
  • At least 3 years of progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership.
  • Detail oriented, with excellent time management skills; ability to multitask and balance competing priorities in an effective manner. Strong interpersonal skills, works well with others, and responds well to direction.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels throughout the Missile Wing and AFNWC.
  • Knowledge of weapon system parts and parts ordering processes.
  • Must possess a IMDS and Parts ordering background.
  • Ability to interpret/apply applicable Major Command implementing instructions and associated technical orders.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Current Secret security clearance (adjudicated within the past 6 years) or higher and eligible to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Community College Air Force (CCAF) Degree in one of the following: Missile Maintenance Technology, Space and Missile Maintenance Technology, Electronic Systems Technology, or Mechanical and Electrical Technology degree.
  • Current Top Secret security clearance.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $125422

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
